Ming Zheng

     Ming Zheng, M.D., Ph.D. is a principal investigator in the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology, Health Science Center, Peking University. Dr. Zheng earned her M.D. degree in Clinical Medicine from Xi’an Medical University in 1993, and her Ph.D. in Pathophysiology from Peking University in 2001. Dr. Zheng’s research has been primarily focused on the homeostasis of mitochondria/sarcoplasmic reticulum in the pathogenesis of cardiac or skeletal muscle diseases such as heart failure or muscle atrophy. She has over 70 publications in peer-reviewed journals including Circulation Research, Hypertension、and Proc Natl Acad Sci USA.
