Yong-Fen Qi

   Yong-Fen Qi is mainly engaged in experimental research on the pathophysiological significance of cardiovascular active peptides and the pathogenesis and prevention of cardiovascular diseases, as well as the mechanism of vascular calcification. At present, she is the vice chairman of the Atherosclerosis Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Pathophysiology, a member of the Bioactive Small Molecules Professional Committee, and a member of the Stress Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Physiology. She has presided over key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China's major research program, over 10 NSFC general projects, key projects of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Education's New Century Excellent Talents Project, and Beijing Natural Science Foundation projects. She has successively won the second prize of Science and Technology Achievement Award from the Ministry of Education, the second prize of Huaxia Medicine, the third prize of China Medical Science and Technology Award, and the third prize of Beijing Science and Technology Achievement Award as the first person to complete the project. She published multiple SCI research papers with an H-index of 39. As an associate editor or editorial board member, she participated in the compilation of multiple textbooks.
