
Prof. Huang is a Tenured Full Professor in Environmental Health at Peking University School of Public Health, and currently serves as the Director of Peking University Institute of Environmental Medicine. She received her doctorate training in Environmental Health at Harvard T.C. Chan School of Public Health in 2003, then worked at the Health Effects Institute overseeing global air pollution and health studies focusing on Asian populations, between 2003-2007. She joined Peking University in 2008, and has focus on research assessing the health risks of environmental exposures, underlying pathophysiological mechanisms, and intervention policies, with demonstrated publication records and global impacts. She now serves as the Scientific Advisor Group on Global Air Pollution and Health for the World Health Organization (WHO), Member of International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) Committee on Environmental and Climate Health, Chair of the Youth Committee of China Environmental Mutagen Society. She also serves as the co Editor-in-Chief for Int J Hyg Environ Health (IJHEH) and Editorial Board Members for Environ Epidemiology.
